Germantown is a neighborhood located in the northwest section of Philadelphia.  It is home to many of Philadelphia's largest homes (many built back in the 1800's) and historic sites. Most of them have been delicately rehabbed throughout the years.  Here you will find that it is home to professors, social activists, politicians, and blue collar workers alike.   It's very rich in cultural diversity for there isn't a shortage of community groups to get involved in.
